MISSION OF SALEM LUTHERAN SCHOOL

Our mission is to share the Christian faith with children and their families by partnering with them to provide opportunities for spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth in a Christ-centered environment.

Salem Lutheran School is a part of the heritage of Christian education in the Lutheran Church that goes back to early colonial times in America.  By the 1870’s, some 40 years after the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod was organized, over 400 Lutheran schools served 25,000 children.  Today, there are more than 2,200 Lutheran early childhood centers, elementary and secondary schools serving over 280,000 students.  God has charged us to serve Him by providing children a quality education that meets the needs of young Christians living amid change in our society today.  Salem Lutheran School is an outstanding blessing of God, educating children in the truest and most meaningful sense of the term – providing learning experiences that are both quality and Christian.

We offer personalized instruction in a caring Christian family atmosphere.  As Christian educators, we consider it our responsibility and privilege to serve the spiritual, intellectual, aesthetic, emotional, social, and physical needs of God’s children.  Together, with the Christian home and church, we nurture and provide admonition in the Lord.  We trust that our efforts, blessed by the Spirit, will allow our students to grow up to be blessings to all whose lives touch theirs.  Finally, we share the confident hope that we will all meet together in eternity to praise and glorify God forevermore.

In Christ,
