Next Event: The Hispanic Family Thursday, May 7, 7pm (Fellowship Hall)
This discussion will explore the values, roles and traditions of various Hispanic families an how life in the United States influences these aspects. After a large group panel, we will di vide into small groups where you may as questions of our Hispanic friends.
Upcoming Activities:
Mother’s Day Celebration: On Sunday, May 17, the men of Cristo will prepare a delicious lunch for the women of our congregation and allow them to enjoy it in a peaceful ambiance as the men also care for the children! Mothers from Salem are welcome to join us! Please let Pastor Brandon know if you would like to participate. Celebrating our Graduates: On Pentecost Sunday, May 24, we invite our graduates to wear their cap and gown to our worship service as we ask the Holy Spirit to bless them and guide them into the future. Classes to Prevent and Manage Diabetes: We will host a six-week course in Spanish provided by the University of Arkansas to promote the health of our community.
Ongoing Activities:
Song of Solomon: Our Jr. and Sr. High youth are studying what God says in his Word about attraction, dating, romance, love, marriage, and sexual intimacy. This study will help them prepare to experience God’s best in a marriage relationship. Men’s Study: Every Saturday morning, a small group of men from Cristo Para Todos meets to grow in faith and leadership. Women’s Study: The second Saturday of every month, a group of women meet to grow together in faith and fellowship.
